No Excuse November

That’s a wrap on the No Excuse November challenge. Congratulations! I hope I inspired you to get moving every day and that you keep the streak going into December. With the hustle and bustle of the holidays it can be hard to find the time to fit in a workout.

IMG_5600I prefer to get my workouts done first thing in the morning but I know that’s not for everyone. Try squeezing a walk in on your lunch or head out right after work. Do what works best for you! Sometimes I’ll squeeze in 15 minutes first thing in the morning and another 15 minutes between clients later in the day. Find what works for you and schedule it on your calendar just like you would a meeting or conference call. Your health is worth your time!

Overwhelemed by the hustle and bustle of the season? Call a friend and ask them to meet you for a walk. I promise the shopping can wait and connecting with someone in person is a far greater gift than anything you can buy at the store.

Oscar and I averaged a little over a mile every day, and my husband joined us most days. So many of you sent me text messages or Instagram messages sharing your walks and I loved reading each and every one of them. Oscar lost about a pound overall this month and his little friend Macy dropped a pound too!

This little pup lost a pound this month and got her mom out moving, every day including Thanksgiving! Thanks so much for sharing this post Jessica.

I took this fluff on a few training runs with me this month and she’s finishing out the challenge strong.

The Berkeley Half Marathon was a great milestone this month. It was my 5th time running this race.
